Here’s a straightforward recipe for homemade chocolate and oat bars. These bars are easy to make, full of wholesome ingredients, and are perfect for when you need a boost of energy or feel like indulging in something healthy.

 Ingredients

         •       475 ml (2 cups) oats

        •       120 ml (½ cup) oat flour

        •       60 ml (¼ cup) raw cacao powder

        •       5 ml (1 tsp) cinnamon

        •       1.25 ml (¼ tsp) sea salt

        •       240 ml (1 cup) sunflower seed butter

        •       120 ml (½ cup) dark chocolate chips (80% cocoa or higher)

 Instructions

         1.      In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the oats, oat flour, cacao powder, cinnamon, and sea salt until thoroughly combined.

        2.      Pour in the sunflower seed butter and stir until the mixture turns into a consistent dough.

        3.      Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.

        4.      Line a cake or loaf tin with parchment paper and transfer the dough into it. Using a spatula or your hands, press the dough down firmly to create a flat, even layer.

        5.      Place the tin in the refrigerator and allow the mixture to firm up for at least one hour.

        6.      Once set, remove from the fridge, slice into bars, and serve. Enjoy your delicious, homemade treat!

These bars are not only a joy to make but also a delightful way to treat yourself while nourishing your body with wholesome ingredients. Happy baking!
