Apple and Walnut Bircher Pots

Need a quick and easy breakfast for those busy mornings? Try these delicious and fruity Bircher bowls! Prep the night before and enjoy in the morning.

Apple and Walnut Bircher Pots

 Ingredients

  • 1½ apples

  • 4 tbsp ground walnuts (hazelnuts nuts work well too)

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 70g porridge oats

  • 400ml walnut milk drink (you can use other nut milks if you prefer)

  • 15g dried apricots, roughly chopped

  • 20g toasted walnuts, roughly chopped

  • fresh pomegranate seeds or berries or a fruit of your choice (optional)

  • 1 Tbsp Pumpkin seeds

  • 1 Tbsp flaxseeds crushed.

 Instructions 

  • Grate 1 apple and place it in a bowl with the ground nuts, cinnamon, oats and nut milk drink and leave to soak overnight.

  • Spoon the bircher into 2 bowls.

  • Chop the remaining apple into small pieces then top the bircher with the apple , apricots, pomegranate seeds (if using), pumpkin seeds and walnuts to serve. Enjoy!
