Hi everyone! I want to share a special recipe with you today - Golden Milk. It’s a wonderfully comforting and healthful drink that I personally love, especially for its warm, spiced flavour. This recipe is not just easy to make, but it’s also a great way to add a bit of healthy indulgence to your day.

My favourite Golden Milk Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 ½ cups (approx. 590 ml) unsweetened almond or coconut milk (full fat for extra richness)

• 1 cinnamon stick or ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) ground cinnamon, plus extra for garnish

• 2 inches fresh turmeric, sliced, or 1 ½ teaspoons (7.4 ml) ground turmeric

• 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced, or ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground ginger

• ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) coconut oil or MCT oil

• A pinch of black pepper

Instructions:

1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, your choice of oil, and black pepper.

2. Gently heat the mixture on medium, stirring occasionally, until it’s warm but not boiling.

3. If you’ve used fresh turmeric and ginger, strain it into your favourite mug. If using ground spices, pour directly into the mug.

4. Finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top for that extra zing. Enjoy your golden moment!
