Green Ginger Harmony Smoothie
Ingredients:
• Spinach: 1 cup
• Cucumber: ½, sliced
• Celery: 1 stalk
• Ginger: 1-inch piece
• Lemon Juice: From ½ lemon
• Chia Seeds: 1 tbsp
• Flaxseeds crushed: 1 tbsp (for added omega-3s and fiber)
• Almonds: 10, raw and unsalted (for crunch and extra protein)
• Unsweetened Almond Milk: 1 cup
• Greek Yogurt (plain, unsweetened): ½ cup
Method:
1. Thoroughly wash the spinach, cucumber, and celery.
2. Peel and slice the ginger.
3. If you have a powerful blender, you can add the almonds directly. Otherwise, consider soaking them overnight or using almond butter for a smoother texture.
4. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. The nuts and seeds will add a bit of texture to the smoothie.
5. Taste and adjust—if you like it tangier, add more lemon juice.
